Master Potter

base_aboutme_left.jpg

Word from the Artist

Pottery, to me, embodies a sensibility that I naturally cultivated while growing up in the distinctive locale of Gojozaka, nestled in Kyoto Prefecture's Higashiyama district.

Growing up in the heart of Kyoto’s pottery industry,

I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a diverse range of individuals, situations, and experiences, along with the privilege of learning techniques from esteemed masters.
With dedicated practice, I was able to discover my own aesthetic sensibilities.

I believe that each piece of pottery conveys a message within its very existence; reflecting on my personal experiences at the time.
I aspire to connect with pottery enthusiasts worldwide, inviting them to join me on this creative journey.

Always believe in the power of your present experiences.
